In last September, Pelcor celebrated
the opening of its first eco-friendly concept store, in Lisbon.
No passado mês de Setembro, a Pelcor inaugurou a sua primeira loja com um conceito eco-friendly, em Lisboa.
The brand emerged from the cork industry,
in São Brás de Alportel, Portugal. It’s
history begins with Novacortiça, S.A.,
a producer of
natural cork discs
for Champaign bottles.
Unexpectedly, the idea of creating the
Pelcor brand arose in 2003, with the
development of an umbrella fully made by cork leather, which was exhibited
during an event where Novacortiça, S.A. was participating. The umbrella was
such a success that in the same year it gave birth to Pelcor, a
brand that incorporates
innovation, technology,
sustainability,
sophistication and quality in unique
items.
A marca surgiu na indústria
da cortiça, em São Brás de Alportel. A sua história começa com a NovaCortiça, S.A, um produtor de discos
de cortiça natural para garrafas de champanhe.
Inesperadamente, a
ideia de criar a marca Pelcor, surgiu em 2003,
com a criação de um chapéu-de-chuva totalmente produzido com pele de cortiça.
Este chapéu foi exibido num evento, no qual a Novacortiça participou, sendo de
tal modo um grande sucesso, que veio a originar uma marca (Pelcor) totalmente
focada em inovação, tecnologia,
sustentabilidade, sofisticação e qualidade.
Today
Pelcor is recognized worldwide
for offering a
group of exclusive fashion accessories, gifts and pet accessories mainly
made by cork, leather and vegan features with elegance, high quality and
eco-friendliness characteristics. It is no coincidence that this year Pelcor was approved by Peta as a vegan
brand.
Hoje a Pelcor é
reconhecida mundialmente pelos seus exclusivos
acessórios de moda, gifts e acessórios para animais de estimação, os quais
são sobretudo constituÃdos por cortiça, pele e qualidades vegan. Tais caracterÃsticas
são combinadas com elegância, enaltecida qualidade e outras caracterÃsticas
amigas do ambiente, não é coincidência alguma que a Peta aprovou a Pelcor como uma marca vegan.
