Parisians are extremely
outdoor and culture oriented, most of their time is spent outside their houses,
either at a café’s terrace, or at a park with a bottle of wine and a good book.
Since I arrived in Paris I see myself being one of the few using their phone at
the metro, updating social media or answering to my friends’ messages. Parisians
appreciate more killing their time reading a book on their way to the office or
home.
In a city full of culture, bookstores are almost everywhere and more common than it are the terraces.

Parisienses têm um estilo de vida
muito orientado ao ar livre e cultura,
maior parte do seu tempo é passado fora de casa, ora em esplanadas, ora num
parque com uma garrafa de vinho e um bom livro. Desde que cheguei a Paris,
reparo que sou uma das poucas pessoas a usar o telemóvel no metro. Em vez de
atualizarem as redes sociais ou responderem a mensagens de amigos, os Parisienses
preferem matar o seu tempo no metro, a caminho de casa ou do trabalho, lendo um
bom livro.
Numa
cidade cheia de cultura, as livrarias estão quase por todo o lado e
ainda mais comuns são as esplanadas
e terraços.
