Estiveram presentes diversas celebridades e figuras públicas. À esquerda, o João Freitas Ferreira, autor do Gentleman's Journal, e eu, a tirar-mos uma selfie. No meio eu e a Anabela Baldaque. Espero que tenham gostando da história da Anabela tanto quanto eu, para além de uma artista fantástica é também uma pessoa muito querida.

Q: I noticed you still have Steve’s nameplate up next to his old office.

Reparei que ainda têm a placa com o nome do Steve perto do seu antigo escritório. 

Tim Cook: Yeah. 

Q: Why? And will you have anything like that over at the new place?

Porquê? Irão ter algo semelhante na nova sede? 

Tim Cook: I haven’t decided about what we’ll do there. But I wanted to keep his office exactly like it was. I was in there with Laurene [Powell Jobs, Steve’s wife] the other day because there are still drawings on the board from the kids. I took Eve [Steve’s daughter] in there over the summer and she saw some things that she had drawn on his white board years earlier.

In the beginning I really didn’t personally want to go in there. It was just too much. Now I get a lot more appreciation out of going in there, even though I don’t go in very often.

What we’ll do over time, I don’t know. I didn’t want to move in there. I think he’s an irreplaceable person and so it didn’t feel right . . . for anything to go on in that office. So his computer is still in there as it was, his desk is still in there as it was, he’s got a bunch of books in there. Laurene took some things to the house.

I don’t know. His name should still be on the door. That’s just the way it should be. That’s what felt right to me. 

Ainda não decidi o que iremos lá fazer. Mas queria manter o seu escritório, exactamente, como estava. Estive lá no outro dia com a Laurene [a mulher do Steve], porque ainda estão alguns desenhos num quadro feitos pelos seus filhos. Também levei lá a sua filha, durante o verão e ela pôde ver alguns desenhos que tinha feito anos antes. 

No início, não queria lá entrar. Era demasiado. Agora valorizo-me mais ao lá ir, mesmo que não o faça muito frequentemente. 

O que iremos fazer, não sei. Não quero mexer no seu escritório. Na minha opinião, ele é uma pessoa insubstituível e mudar as suas coisas, não parece correcto. Portanto, o seu computador continua lá, tal como estava, assim como a sua secretária e imensos livros. A Laurene levou algumas das coisas para casa.

Eu não sei. O nome deve deveria permanecer na porta. As coisas deveriam de continuar desta maneira. É assim que me parece certo.
