DIESEL BLACK AND GOLD MEN SS17 | MILAN FASHION WEEK

I
really love Diesel's attitude! It is a brand that plays with its own rules and
is always single in kind and excellence.
SS17
takes Diesel Black and Gold back to its origins: the denim, although the
inspiration for the collection was based on 'black and white'. It is
influenced by a compilation of monochrome photographs from the 50's taken
by the American photographer Irving Penn.
His
lens captured a variety of people dressed in their work clothes and that was
what Andreas Melbostad put into the catwalk: clothes inspired by the uniforms of butchers, chimney sweep, and so on.
But, do not get scared this is a modern version completely utilitarian and
urban aesthetic, which, along with signature black, displays bright colours such
as white and pale tones.
THE BACKSTAGE
The backstage pictures for
me are always the funniest. In those you can see the reality, excitement
and anxiety of those who utterly put their energy into giving a triumphal show!
