There were present several celebrities and public figures. On the left João Freitas Ferreira, author of the Gentleman's Journal and me, taking a selfie. On the middle me and Anabela Baldaque. I hope you like Anabela as much as I do. She isn't only a great artist she is also a very sweet person.

Estiveram presentes diversas celebridades e figuras públicas. À esquerda, o João Freitas Ferreira, autor do Gentleman's Journal, e eu, a tirar-mos uma selfie. No meio eu e a Anabela Baldaque. Espero que tenham gostando da história da Anabela tanto quanto eu, para além de uma artista fantástica é também uma pessoa muito querida.

O desfile ocorreu na passada Terça-feira, na Semana da Moda de  Nova Iorque e chegou hoje ao Simplicity is Chic.

Aqui vai a minha breve selecção dos meus looks preferidos da apresentação da colecção Outono-Inverno 2013/14 da Diesel Black and Gold. 

O tema do vestuário desta colecção centrou-se no automobilismo, motociclismo, denim e peças de alfaiataria que foram fundidos para criar novos e híbridos designs.

The show occured last Tuesday at The New York Fashion Week and arrived today at Simplicity is Chic.

There's a selection of my favorite looks of the presentation of Fall/Winter 2013/14 Diesel Black and Gold's collection.

The theme of this collection is centered on motoring, motorcycling, denim and tailored pieces that were merged and created new and hybrid designs.

With speed as principal theme the clothes are approximately svelte to create a aerodynamic and anatomic silhouette . The irreverence and the rock chic style of Diesel Black and Gold crosses unique pieces with simplified lines that suggests work, search of textures and handicraft finishing.

I want to capture a variety of materials and designs in a unique and singular look. [...] Above all I want to create a strong, confident and seductive collection with the new Diesel Black and Gold woman, says Andreas Melbostad.

Mais uma vez, peço desculpa pela minha ausência. Como devem de imaginar estão a ser tempos agitados, mas eu esta semana irei metê-los a par de tudo quanto se tem passado, PROMETO! Não percam a vossa esperança em mim, ahah.

No entanto, há uma notícia que tenho que anunciar, uma vez que irá afectar o funcionamento do blog por aqui de adiante: A Sá decidiu sair do projecto Simplicity is Chic e iniciará um novo blog. Um dos motivos pelo qual a Sara saiu, segundo as suas palavras, foi a falta de motivação.

Quero então agradecer à Sá pelo trabalho que ela fez no Simplicity is Chic, que apesar de pouco foi brilhante! Desejo-lhe também a melhor sorte do mundo para o seu novo projecto. 

Again, I apologize for my absence. How you should imagine these are being troubled times, but this week I'll tell you all, I PROMISE! Don’t lose hope in me, ahah.

However, there is a new that I have to announce because it will affect the operation of the blog here ahead: Sá decided to leave the project Simplicity is Chic and start a new blog. On of the reasons why Sarah left (according to his words) was lack of motivation.

I want to thank Sá for the work she did in Simplicity is Chic, that was brilliant! I also wish her the best luck for your new project.
