The ones who know me well are
familiar with my enormous admiration for luxury
brands and goods. Like I have mentioned before I have been examining a
specific store in Lisbon which name is known worldwide: Boutique dos Relógios.
On November 2016, I was wandering
around Avenida da Liberdade and walked into one of their stores (Plus Avenida Art) on my way to a press
event. Immediately I was informed about an Instagram
contest that was going on in partnership with Piaget, which had an exhibition inside the Boutique fully dedicated
to this competition. It took me no time to decide to join and I participated with
two photos which I shared on my Instagram the one above and the one below.

revelei uma pequena análise que tenho andado a fazer a uma loja em especÃfico
cá em Lisboa cujo nome é conhecido mundialmente: a Boutique dos Relógios. (Podem ver esse post aqui)
Em
Novembro de 2016, passeava pela Avenida
da Liberdade a caminho de um evento de impressa quando decidi entrar na Boutique dos Relógios Plus Avenida Art.
Imediatamente fui informada sobre um concurso
que a loja tinha acabado de lançar no Instagram
em parceria com a Piaget, que no
momento tinha uma exposição no interior da loja totalmente dedicada Ã
competição. Sem demora decidi fazer parte do passatempo e participei com duas
fotos, que partilhei no instagram (as fotografias acima).
To be a contestant you only
had to share a photo on Instagram with a Piaget product and use the hashtag
#POSSESSION4ME. I chose to wear the beautiful limelight gala watch in rose gold
with 62 brilliant-cut diamonds. Oh dear,
this watch is to die for! I really
felt like a million-dollar woman with this watch in my wrist, ahah!
Para
participar, os concorrentes apenas tinham que partilhar uma foto no Instagram
com um produto da Piaget e utilizar a hashtag #POSSESSION4ME. Eu optei por usar
um lindÃssimo relógio ‘limelight gala’ (limelight = luzes da ribalta, claro!) em ouro rosa e com 62 diamantes com um
corte brilhante.
Oh meu deus, este relógio é lindo de morrer! Eu realmente
me senti como um milhão de dólares, com este relógio no meu pulso, ahah!

dedicated to women that was fully produced in La Côte-aux-Fées, Switzerland. This watch has two peculiar
characteristics: the several phases of
the moon and the hide and seek game between it and the sun.
Did you know that the moon is a symbol of intemporal femininity, dreaming, imagination and eternal inquisitiveness?
The truth is that it is impossible to ignore a beautiful moon in the sky and
not to dream about holding it with our bare hands.

A
linha limelight tem peças maravilhosas, por exemplo o relógio limelight Stella, o primeiro relógio complicado dedicado ao
sexo feminino e totalmente concebido em La Côte-aux-Fées, Suiça. Este relógio tem duas caracterÃsticas
peculiares: apresenta as diversas fases
da lua e o jogo do esconde-esconde
entre a lua e o sol à medida que as horas vão passando.
Sabiam
que a lua simboliza a intemporalidade feminina, os sonhos, a imaginação e a indagação eterna?
A verdade é que é impossÃvel ignorar-se um belÃssimo luar e não se tentar
imaginar como seria, se nós próprios pudéssemos agarrar o luar com as nossas
próprias mãos.

Some gorgeous high jewellery pieces also took part of
this exhibition, as it is the case of these splendid earrings and necklace in white gold. One of the contestants, the Portuguese
actress Maria João Bastos, wore the
necklace while using a delicate dress
by the Portuguese designer Filipe FaÃsca.
As you can see the competition was high!

estava em exposição algumas peças deslumbrantes de alta joalharia, como é o caso destes esplêndidos brincos e colar em ouro branco. Uma das
concorrentes era a atriz portuguesa Maria
João Bastos, que delicadamente combinou o colar com um vestido do estilista português Filipe
FaÃsca. Como podem ver a fasquia
estava muito alta!
Recently I was informed that my first photo was selected as the winning
photo. It was indeed an amazing experience, especially for having the opportunity to touch the real art
pieces that I hear so much about. Additionally, it is not every day that a luxury brand exposes their products to the overall
public and allows a common citizen
(for instance) to ‘have fun’ with their products and have that one experience
of being the owner of the good for a few minutes.
Recentemente
fui informada de que a minha primeira
foto foi selecionada como a fotografia vencedora. Esta foi garantidamente
uma experiência incrÃvel, especialmente por esta ser uma oportunidade de manusear as autênticas obras de arte de que
tanto ouço falar. Não é todos os dias
que uma marca de luxo expõe os seus produtos ao público geral e lhe oferece
momentos de ‘diversão’ com os seus produtos, proporcionando por exemplo a
um cidadão comum a experiência de como é ter-se na posse um artigo de luxo, nem
que seja por breves instantes.
The
award was an exclusive design made by Piaget, a Possession design. All I can say is
that all this experience was nothing but
exceptionally exceptional, I was even congratulated by the Piaget brand
manager!
O prémio foi um modelo especial de pulseira da Piaget da linha Possession. O que posso dizer
sobre esta experiência é que foi acima de tudo excecionalmente excecional, até a gestora da marca me deu os
parabéns!
Some days ago I said “je voudrai mon Piaget” (I wish my
Piaget), today my wish is a reality and with merit! (It tastes even better like that!) There isn’t any problem about
dreaming. I confess that I am a dreamer,
but is that kind of enthusiasm that has taken me to where I am today.
Há
alguns dia atrás eu dizia “je voudrai mon
Piaget” (eu desejo a minha Piaget!), hoje o meu desejo é uma realidade e
com mérito! (Sabe ainda melhor desta maneira!) Não há problema algum em sonhar!
Eu confesso que sou uma sonhadora,
mas tem sido este entusiasmo que me trouxe até onde estou hoje.
