I really love Diesel's attitude! It is a brand that plays with its own rules and is always single in kind and excellence. SS17 takes Diesel Black and Gold back to its origins: the denim, although the inspiration for the collection was based on 'black and white'.  It is influenced by a compilation of monochrome photographs from the 50's taken by the American photographer Irving Penn. His lens captured a variety of people dressed in their work clothes and that was what Andreas Melbostad put into the catwalk:  clothes inspired by the uniforms of butchers, chimney sweep, and so on....
