I couldn't be prouder! Due to all struggles I had, I could keep the blog alive. Honestly I am planning doing so for the next times. Even not being a full time blogger I had a lot of job offers and events and party invitation in Portugal and abroad.
This is being an incredible experience that I want to keep living.

Here I was at the Principe Real's new baby, @Barbour International Store!

The street was frenetic and everybody was curious to know what was happening at this new little store! Great music, beautiful people, an amazing space, press and celebrities, it was impossible to do not stop and stare.

It was the opening of the Barbour International's new store, right next to the Barbour Store.

And as you can see I wasn't dressed properly to ride a bike but only to walk on the countryside, ahah!

Aqui estava eu a assistir ao nascimento do novo bebé do Princípe Real, a loja Barbour International!

A rua estava frenética e toda a gente que passava curiosa para saber o que se passava, nesta nova e pequenina loja! Óptima música, pessoas bonitas, um espaço fantástico, impensa e celebridades. Era impossível passar e não ficar parado a olhar. Era a abertura da loja Barbour International, mesmo ao lado da loja Barbour e como podem ver, eu não estava vestida propriamente para dar uma volta de mota, mas talvez, para dar um passeio pelo campo.

Curiosity: What's the story behind of Barbour International? It's name was inspired on a jacket named Barbour International added by Duncan Barbour on 1936 to his family brand's collection and created specially for the International Six Days Trials (a motorbike event). This jacket become so popular that was wear by almost all britannic teams until 1977 and later it declared exclusivity to an american team where one of the players was the actor Steve McQueen.

Qual é a história por de trás da Barbour International? O seu nome inspira-se no nome de um blusão (Barbour International) acrescentado por Duncan Barbour, em 1936, à colecção da marca da sua família. Este blusão foi criado especialmente para o evento International Six Days Trials (um de motos). Este blusão tornou-se tão popular que foi usado durante anos por quase todas as equipas britânicas, até 1977 e mais tarde, tornou-se exclusivo de uma equipa americana, à qual pertencia o actor Steve McQueen.

On the 31th October I went to the Aristohour by Aristocrazy Lisboa. It wasn't only one hour of fun and aristocracy but also the opening of the Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection at the store.

The brand arrived on the Avenida da Liberdade nº 163 on December of 2013, but last month it was my first time there.

I will just give you a sample of what was my aristo-afternoon.

No dia 31 de Outubro estive presente na Aristohour da Aristocrazy Lisboa, não foi apenas uma hora de diversão e aristocracia, como também a abertura da coleccção desta estação.

A marca chegou à Avenida da Liberdade nº 163, em Dezembro de 2013, mas apenas foi apenas no mês passado que tive oportunidade de ir até lá.

Vou mostrar-vos uma pequena amostra de como foi a minha aristo-tarde.

What I have to share today isn't exactly new, but it's going to rock your summer!

I already know that you love the music video G.U.Y. from Lady Gaga, but probably what you don't know is that a portuguese brand was chosen to be part of this great production. See the clothes and accessories that were chosen here at the Gaga Fashion Land. Today I am going to talk about that brand: Valentim Quaresma, hat actually is the name of it's creator.

Who is Valentim Quaresma?

Valentim:

Lives and works in Lisbon;
Studied in the School of arts António Arroio and in Ar.co’s Jewellery department.
Worked with Ana Salazar, the pioneer of Portuguese fashion, creating jewellery and accessories for her collections from 1990 to 2010.
Winner of the prize "Accessories collection of the Year" in the international competition ITS#7 in Trieste - Italy, and starts his own brand in 2008.
He participates in events like Bread and Butter Barcelona, 080 Barcelona Fashion, in Riga, Fashionclash Maastricht in The Netherlands, Cesis fashion art festival in Latvia, Bijorhca in Paris, MoBa13 "Fetishism in Fashion" in Arnhem, and Manupulating Surface - Portuguese Craftmanship in London, and others, promoting is own fashion brand.
Takes part in the official ModaLisboa annual calendar since 2011.
He has been the pioneer designer to present an all accessories fashion show in ModaLisboa.

On 24th of June I had a hair salon opening - the Hair, Rui Canento hair salon.

Rui Canento is a young hairstylist that since early worked for TV taking care of our dearest and adored portuguese public figures as Aurea, Bárbara Guimarães, Hérman José, Sónia Távares and so many others.

He worked in shows as "A Casa dos Segredos", "Ídolos", "O Homem que Mordeu o Cão", "Portugal tem talento" and others.

The opening was amazing and counted with Rui closest friends, bloggers, fashionistas and some public figures. The theme was Gin Party but what really emerged was the charming environment of the space and the cute epoque customs of the bartenders. See the pictures.Unfortunately I am not in Lisbon right now and I forgot my camera there. So when I return to Lisbon I'll publish my pics of the space.

I bet that for many times you though about how you would be/look after making a big change, but you never did it because you were afraid of the result(s)!

People always told be that they would loved to see me with fringe or with short hair or even with blond hair or with an afro. Well, at the last press day of Showpress I tried it all and I really cleared my mind: I love my self as I am! But I had a lot of fun. Look:

Aposto que por diversas vezes pensaram em fazer mudanças drásticas, mas nunca as fizeram por receio do resultado e desistiram!

Sempre me disseram que me adorariam ver de franja ou com o cabelo curto ou até com um afro ou com o cabelo loiro. Bem no Press Day da Showpress fiz a experiência e deixei tudo em pratos limpos: adoro-me como estou, mas diverti-me imenso. Vejam:

Rustic and charming are the words that describe this collection. Ideal for making you look smart but comfortable in daily outdoor events and activities in the country (or not).

Oh! And I almost forgot: very committed in vintage decoration accessories! Don't you love this camera?

Rústica e encantadora são as palavras que descrevem esta colecção. Ideal para looks smarts mas confortáveis, adequados às actividades campestres e eventos diúrnos ao ar livre.

Ah! E quase que me esquecia! Muito empenhadíssima nos acessórios de decoração vintage. Não adoram esta câmera?

This are the kind of clothes that will make you glow in any night event! With a small inspiration of the 20's (in my opinion), very colorful and elegant. I think that wearing this clothes in the winter any women won't feel melancholic!
