O ITS JEWELRY, com a confirmação da SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS como principal parceira. A competição de design de joalharia, aberta a escolas de joalharia por todo o mundo assim como a jovens designers de joalharia, oferecerá o SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Jewelry Award, que consiste num prémio monetário de 10.000€ e um estágio na sede da Swarovski em Wattens (Áustria).

The Jewelry design competition, open to jewelry design academies and universities all over the world, as well as to young jewelry designers, will offer the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Jewelry Award, consisting of a €10,000 cash prize and a 6-month internship at the Swarovski headquarters in Wattens (Austria).

Em relação ao ITS FASHION: 

A Diesel é a principal parceira do ITS FASHION desde do seu início. O Diesel Award oferecerá 25.000€ mais um estágio de seis meses com a Diesel Creative Team na sede em Breganze. O Fashion Collection of the Year oferecerá ao vencedor 15.000€ para desenvolver uma nova coleção que será apresentada no ITS 2013 (o vencedor fará também parte do Júri dessa edição) num desfile produzido e organizado pela EVE. O Fashion Special Prize também foi confirmado e ao seu vencedor será atribuído um prémio de 5.000€.

In relation to ITS FASHION: 

Diesel is the main partner of ITS FASHION. The Diesel Award will offer a €25,000 cash prize plus a 6-month internship with the Diesel Creative Team at its headquarters in Breganze (Vicenza). The winner of the Fashion Collection of the Year  will receive €15,000 to be used towards the development of a new collection to be showcased – through a fashion show produced and organized by EVE – at the 2013 edition of ITS, besides having the opportunity of sitting in next year’s  judging panel. Also the Fashion Special Prize has been confirmed, which will assign to the selected work a cash prize amounting to €5,000.

O International Talent Suport, plataforma criada e organizada pela agência EVE, consagrada à avaliação e ao apoio a jovens criativos internacionais e está de volta em 2012(...). Procurando novos talentos com dedicação à descoberta da imaculada criatividade dos jovens designers e fotográfos. O conceito deste ano, apresentado na campanha de comunicação, é a eterna dualidade entre o BEM e o MAL, os dois pólos opostos à volta dos quais gira toda a nossa existência. As quatro áreas da competição serão: ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES, ITS JEWELRY e ITS PHOTO.
As inscrições para este concurso encerraram no dia 23 de Março de 2012 e entretanto, os finalistas já foram anunciados. Brevemente publicaremos alguns imagens dos seus trabalhos aqui.

The International Talent Support, the creative platform conceived and developed by the EVE agency, dedicated to the scouting and support of young creative talents from all over the world, is back in 2012 (...). 

Scouting for new talents, our dedication in uncovering the untainted creativity of young designers and photographers. This year’s concept, displayed in the communication campaign and in the setting up is the eternal duality between GOOD and EVIL, the two opposite poles around which our whole existence revolves.

The four areas of the competition platform have been confirmed: ITS FASHION, ITS ACCESSORIES, ITS JEWELRY and ITS PHOTO.

The entries for this contest ended on March 23, 2012 and recently the finalists have been announced. Soon we will post some pictures of their works here.

Eu decidi não falar sobre o editorial da FHM (que está fantástico) mas sim sobre o modelo. Luís Borges tem 23 anos e é um dos modelos nacionais mais requisitados no estrangeiro. Já trabalho com marcas como Tommy Hilfiger, Japan Rags, Tom Ford, United Colors of Benetton, Paul Smith, Etro, Salvatore Ferragamo, John Varvatos, Kenzo, Iceberg, General Idea, Y-3, Richard Chai, Choon, Kris Van Assche, DKNY, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermés, Costume National, Neil Barrett, Custo Barcelona, Dior Homme, Paul Smith, Miharayasuhiro, Wooyoungmi, entre outros.

I decided not to talk about editorial FHM (which is fantastic) but about the model.

Luis Borges has 23 years and is one of the most sought-after national models abroad. O manequim da Central Model foi três vezes nomeado para o Melhor Modelo Masculino para os Globos de Ouro, sendo vencedor deste prémio na primeira edição dos Fashion Awards Portugal , em 2011.

The mannequin of Central Model was three times nominated for the Best Male Model for the Golden Globes, and he won this award in the first edition of the Fashion Awards Portugal in 2011.

À parte da sua carreira admiro muito o Luís Borges. A forma como iniciou a sua carreira, o seu percurso, a forma como se expõe para o Mundo sem preconceitos, a vida, o romance, etc. Sigo algumas entrevistas do manequim e sempre que tenho oportunidade consulto o seu facebook pessoal e mesmo não o conhecendo como pessoa o Luís demonstra ser uma pessoa cheia de personalidade e não um modelo reducionista.  

Aside his career I admire Luis Borges. The way he began his career, his journey, the way he exposes himself to the world without prejudice, his life, the romance, etc. I follow some interviews and whenever I have the opportunity I consult his personal facebook and even not knowing him in person, Luis proves to be a person full of personality and not a reductionist model.
