Todas essas coisas inúteis estúpidas do passado. "... uma voz feminina sussurra no começo do filme.As coisas falaram de relacionamentos. Esta é a premissa de O JOGO DAS COISAS, o último filme de Cristian Straub, uma curta-metragem para a marca alemã Ethel Vaughn. Uma mulher é assombrada pelo seu passado, por coisas e momentos que ela compartilhou com alguém no passado. Como o filme se desenrola temos uma percepção de um relacionamento amoroso que não existe mais. Esta mulher está determinada a limpar a sua vida, atirando todas as "inúteis, coisas estúpidas" do passado ao fogo. Durante este intervalo, um cavaleiro misterioso aparece. E parece que ele não vem a favor do bem..

All those useless stupid things from the past.”... a female voice whispers in the beginning of the film.Things talk relationships. This is the premise for THE GAME OF THINGS, Cristian Straub’s latest fashion short film for German fashion label Ethel Vaughn. A woman is haunted by her past, by things and moments she once shared with someone. As the film unfolds we get a grasp of the romantic relationship that is no more. The woman is determined to clean up her life - by setting all the "useless, stupid things" from the past on fire. In the meantime, a mysterious rider appears. And it looks like he’s up to no good...

O que me facinou neste vídeo? Para além da beleza artística por de trás do vestuário da marca  Ethel Vaughn, foi o mistério, a simplicidade e o individualismo na história do filme.
