Lisbon has its perks if you know where to look… Not far away from the Belém Tower there is a little piece of Paris: Le Comptoir Parisien.
Le Comptoir Parisien is the result of a love story that started in Paris. Nicole and Gilles felt in love in Paris and with the city of Lisbon while traveling in Portugal. Was in Lisbon, right next to the Tejo river, where they decided to open their own restaurant. At Comptoir you can find a selection of dishes that reveal the combination of the French cuisine with some Portuguese kitchen essential ingredients.

Compotoir Parisiense é o resultado de uma história de amor iniciada em Paris,
que deu à costa do Rio Tejo em Lisboa. Foi em Lisboa que Nicole e Gilles
decidiram abrir o seu próprio restaurante, onde servem uma seleção de pratos
que revelam a fusão da cozinha Parisiense com os ingredientes mais
tradicionalmente portugueses.
Nicole
and Gilles’ son, Alexandre,
helps keeping the business excellence, together with an amazing and extremely
friendly team. Some elements of the team, like Alex, are specialized in French cuisine, having even worked
together with some very well-known French chefs.

really can’t tell which one was my favourite, since all the dishes were
incredibly delicious.
